That's for a year and includes Dan's mag. The profits go to hyperbaric research and to help support the diver medical hotline so there is that added benefit. I choose the Prefered plan to get the nondiving medical. Lots of places outside the US will not accept US insurance- you pay them and you deal with your insurance company but in dive areas Dan insurance has a good enough rep that the medical facilities will accept the Dan insurance.

There are other dive insurances out there too. Scuba Diving magaizne done a article about them a couple years ago.

PADI has insurnace too. That is the one me and the wife have. Never had to use it yet. But is a good piece of mind know we have it.
