The liveaboard rider mentioned above is from Dive Assure, not DAN.That's interesting about the liveaboard rider from DAN. I will have to check into that
Right. The question I have pondered is whether DiveAssure's Liveaboard Rider is worth it. Dives being thwarted by one unforeseen circumstance or another over the years has cost me plenty of money and time. I figure I can't insure against every possible misfortune. Besides, no amount of money can adequately compensate me for the lost enjoyment of not getting to see some spectacular reef in Indonesia.Yes. I was just on the Dive Assure site. Their liveaboard rider apparently cover weather related dive loss
Lost Diving Days Due To:
- Medical inability to dive.
- Weather conditions not enabling diving/sailing.
- Diving accident involving another passenger on the boat, causing the boat to abort the planned diving.
- Expenses not reimbursed by the tour operator for default /mechanical breakdown to air supply.
- Financial Default of the liveaboard operating company, or tour operator (Covered already by the Elite Plan).
