Can anyone describe a run-in with the EP? Do they just check your license, measure your bugs, and off they go?

We get boarded at the Plymouth ramp almost every dive. It's always the same guy, and all he cares about is checking lobsters.

I do have my numbers written on my steel tanks with magic marker, not very readable but they are there.

Since I moved here to Florida where this is not required I'm always being asked why I have these big numbers on my tanks...

I put the big plastic peel and stick numbers from Home Depot on 8 years ago and they still look new! Same across the flag. These days I have my instructor number on my flag and float and am planning on putting on my tanks - why you might ask???

I love going in to pick up my fills or jump off the boat and pick out my tanks among the crowd! Grab and go!
