No, I don't know it for sure. I should have written could rather than should. There is also the UV radiation to consider. UV-C doesn't penetrate the atmosphere in appreciable amounts, but UV-A and UV-B can damage the RNA although they are nowhere near as effective.

As of the time I wrote this there were no known cases out here. Two have now been reported, but weeks after I wrote this.

Simple rules for the masses by design can't accommodate all the individual scenarios. In theory: make the rules; make them simple; apply them well.

The rules at the time this was written allowed outdoor activities with proper distancing. Today the rules are to shelter in place.
