My plans, as of now, dive with Chuck and group on Saturday at Pt. Lobos in morning. DIve off Silver Prince at 12:30 pm.
Sunday, dive with gang around Monterey, probably Lover's point or Cove (right Danobee?)
Monday, dive with Bruce at Pt/ Lobos or Monastery.
I am staying in San Jose for most of my trip and will be bringing all my own gear, except tank and weights.
I was thinking maybe a night dive or two to round out the trip. Maybe Sunday night or mid week? Any takers?
Dannobee asked if I was able to dive Sunday with you all and I said I was. So if we can firm up some plans I'm good to go. Would love to do a night dive, but I live 2 hours away from Monterey, so that might be out for Sunday night.

Yeah, we'll do Lover's 3 and Inner Chase Reef if it's fairly calm. Lover's Cove and Breakwater if the seas are up.
While I'd love to do a night dive, it'd put me home at midnight. Friday nights work better for me, but probably not this week. Maybe Laurel will be up again in a few months?

Depending on how cheap hotels are down there on Saturday night, I may even try to sneak on the SP for the Saturday afternoon dive. Are you still planning on doing that, Laurel?

I already got one at the Hyatt. I think I've got a king and I'm something of a snorer, so I'll spare you the aggrivation of bunking w/me. An $85 3* bid on priceline did the trick, if you're still looking. It's not the greatest hotel in the world, nor is it the most ideal location for diving, but it's a good deal for $85.
I'll PM you my cell too so you can call and let me know whether you're going to make it on the SP (I have a suspicion you may want to stay out with Chuck and his free boat). One thing to keep in mind - I think MBDC scratches the afternoon boat dives pretty frequently if there are not enough interested divers. I don't know this for sure, but I'm 0 for 2 with them in the PM.
I'm up for a night dive on Saturday in any event if that appears to be in the cards.
Looking forward to diving up here again. I've been spoiled with 20 dives in the bathing suit only 87 degree water of Bonaire - I hope I can still stand the cold!
