Discount Internet Cam Dealers - Good Deal or Bad Idea?

I am going to buy a C5050 within the week. Normally they go for $800. If I do a search on bizrate or pricegrabber etc, I see that there are places selling them for just a hair over $600. I am very inclined to go through them. The Digital Megastore, for example, says that camera comes with a manufacturers warranty. I really see no down side to this, but still have to wonder if there's a catch. Any opinions, comments, suggestions, etc.

The key to buying online whether it`s a company or auction like Ebay or Yahoo is to cover your butt. This is best done by using a credit card with charge back privligies and also checking references before you buy. In todays world, if you are careful you can find some really good deals and some honest people.

do not purchase from that store they are scammin bait ans switch shop and most likely you will get a grey market camera which means it it breaks nad need s work the manufacture wont fix it because its not designated for this country or if they do you will pay for it thriough the nose. go check the site www.resellerratings.com and look them up

reccomended sellers online fronm new york are B& H, adaroma, Buydig.com are the ones i reccomend


save your self some problems and spend the extra bucks locally then taking a risk with a one of the shady retailers in NY. if you need help in find out if the retailers is goad or bad PM me and i will let you know if there good.
