........That depends on the experience level I'd say.
I didn't want to bring it in, but MHK already sort of mentioned it - some very experienced guys I know dive "by the ear". Just because by now they know their bodies so well that they have a very good feel for what is the "right" deco schedule for them on any given dive. As far as I know none of them was ever bent (or at least won't admit to it ). But it didn't happen overnight either.
.......
"OR at least won't admit it", NOR will they teach it!
Just as I had eluded to yesterday..........YUGOSLAVIAN DECO.
I've done it too........and it's wrong, dead wrong.
If you can remember an actual schedule, thats fine, but it still should be written down anyways, since there's simply no reason not to.
You couldn't feel a bubble in you until it was already too late and I'm sure it wouldn't feel like a Coke-burp either!, so I'll not hear of any God-Like special bubble detector inherent in any GUE Instructor..........BS FLAG.
Sure, I FEEL like I've done enough deco.......hahaha
Take that to the bank and spend it!
That being said........sure, if you do enough of the same dive profiles, you're gonna know the schedule. SO that's a reason to NOT use a computer???
I hope not, That's just laziness, which BTW is NON-DIR
Regards, boys.
Oh yes, I'm speaking almost purely Deco diving in all this, FWI ever was worth.
