Did I just find a hens tooth or make a mistake? (Conshelf din adapter)

I already bought a DIN conversion and silicone cold water kit for it and I use it as a travel rig because the half plastic abyss and plastic proton octo are lighter than my conshelf stuff and it would kill me to take my shiny chrome conshelf 2nds in salt.
I also even found a cheap late style body for the abyss second that has the adjustment plug across from the hose because otherwise it always left me foaming at the mouth the 4th time I had to take the purge cover off again (I'm just not good enough to get it spot on the first time).

I think I was confusing the MR22's with the MR42 that I also had at one point. I had really thought that the later style 22 I had was a 3/8 hose to the newer style second. I wonder if it had an adapter and I just forgot.
