I'm a new diver with about 45 dives (all since August...haha) whose partner is working away over Christmas and New Years. Since I work remotely and have a few days off for Christmas, Christmas Eve, NYE, and New Years, I thought maybe I could escape Boston and go diving. The catch is, I'll be working remotely during non-holiday weekdays and will only be able to dive on weekends, the holidays, and after 4pm Eastern. I'm not into shark diving. Very into coral :) Based on flights/accommodations, I'm looking at the Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Curaçao, the Dominican Republic, or Key West. Any advice or input?

Clarify: are you requiring reliable high speed internet access?

None on your list are in my Caribbean Top 5 for coral, but IF you’re inferring >not a week-long trip<, maybe 3 days???? (Once again, not well defined), flight access could eat up a lot of your time)

Your obvious choice might include Bermuda, Bahamas, but unless you go to the outer Bahamas, corals will disappoint.

If you NEED real Internet, and c+ diving, Grand Cayman.

Go check out the cenotes South of Cancun... Shops in PDC might fit the bill for a bit of ocean diving as well

Bonaire or Curaçao, not been to the latter.
Stay in a resort, diving is super easy right off the dock and anytime you want.
