Destin Jetties dive report and pics 9/1/09

I'd rather not go to jail for spearing without a license and on a jetty to boot. I've always wondered if the fish "accidently" swam into a mesh bag if that would count against me. Now that everyone has to have a license to do any saltwater fishing I guess I'd still be in trouble!

No license! Those fish alone are worth the $15. Actually, if ya didn't already know, you really can set a bag in front of a flounder, tickle his tail, and in he will go. I was amazed the first time I was told that. Even more amazed when I tried it and it worked.

I think Bugman and I have both been in Saltwater numerous times this month....it just seems the elusive Yoda has become a Solo Diver. I think instead of SeaYoda we should call you Sea Hermit!

I'm planning on going tomorrow morning to shoot some pictures and video. I've got some new video equipment to try out. An Equinox housing, green and blue water filters, (2) 800 lumen lights and a few other things.

No, Darth and I are spending quality time until Monday. I'll be looking at river levels, tide times, weather, and social schedule to see if I can get some diving in this week.
