I thought... "Oh Denny's Deathrig Configuration finally did him in... I guess Ted was Right!"...

jk ;)

Man, that side scan sonar is so cool. During the search, we found a canoe, two row boats, a few barrels. It really shows dramatic details in 0 viz, I'm going to really push for our dept. to get one of those, about $3K for the outfit. I would love to have one and just cruise Lakes and rivers with it; it saves us from having to do manual blind searches in cold water that can take forever to do a small area. We covered 4 gravel pits and an industrial retention pond in one afternoon. I really hope the boys are found alive somewhere, but it doesn't look good.

Good job Denny. You looked good and sounded like a pro on TV.

I too hope the boys are found alive, but if the outcome isn't positive, I hope it's some other department who finds them so you're spared that grief.

I saw a clip of this same video on Fox and Friends a little after 6 AM today.

Hummingbird has some real nice side scans for less that $1000. That would be the first thing I would get after purchasing the boat!

The Hummingbird brand is just what we used on both Fri. and Sat.

What a tough job. Thanks for being willing to be a public servant. Were you able to verify the contents of the barrels?
