DEEP/SHALLOW MOLASSES REEF, thursday, 5/4/17, pics,,,,,,,

excellent day on the outer reef this AM. sunshine, SE winds 8KTS, seas 1-3 FT. buoys M28(deep) followed by M19(deep south, permit ledge). light/mdt current, blue water viz 40FT deep(sponge spawning), 60+FT shallow, 78/79F @ 20-90FT. barrel sponges spawning, large loggerhead turtles, large reef/bull shark on the deep side, very fishy, sharks on the shallow portion. pics from timg,,,,,,,

Me too! The shark and diver shot is pretty cool as well. It's neat that you caught the sponge spawning. I've only seen that as couple of times

On April 17, in Boynton Beach, the sponges so numerous and the spawning so vigorous, the visibility was only 5-10 feet
