Hi,
I bought the model you are talking about two weeks ago I have 10 dives on it all in salt water. I paid just under $600.00
for the one I have I love it but I also do not know anything else, as this is the BC I learned on. Almost half off I would grab it and run if I was you.
Good luck
Bob

Thanks Bob...The dive shop I saw this BC in has a pool and they are going to let me try one out... one of the dive instructors that was working with me had told me, "for that price I'd buy two"

At that price...I would buy it!!

I dive with halcyon, zeagle, scubapro, and seaquest...BUT my next is going to be a deepoutdoors!

I almost forgot...I also dive with OMS.

I have never seen an Integrity but I imagine it is quite a nice piece of gear. I have a Matrix bc from them and love it. the stainless steel backplate macks the thing so solid. I have about $375 +/- a little into mine and that was a steel so I wouldn't pass up that kind of deal.

Very clean design, a lot of flexibility with the line of Diverite wings and a lot of followers.

It can be had for about $350 through Leisurepro.

In any case, the Deepoutdoors unit looks very impressive.

Ari :)

I had a chance to demo the Inergity yesterday.

Establishing neutral buoyancy was easy.
Because of the back inflation feature of this BC it offers alot of free movement of your arms.
Removal and replacement underwater easy (hey this was a demo I needed to know how easy/difficult this would be).
I didn't like the standard inflator unit but that can be replaced with an regulator/inflator unit.

All in all I liked it so I purchased one... now all I need are a a full wetsuit, regulator & octopus, dive computer and a couple of tanks... and of course to dive as much as possible...

Do yourself a favor...go buy a SS BP - be it Koplin, Halcyon, etc. and buy a 2" webbing kit with SS D-rings, SS buckle, and SS sliders. For about $180 you have a complete 'harness' - no gimmicks - no Fastex buckles, etc.

I have an OMS IQ and SS BP, and its fine - but you really don't need a $200 harness and $100 BP to make a BP and harness.

For about hundreds of dollars less you can have an entirely serviceable kit and $20 worthy of webbing will last for years - and when it doesn't - you simply buy $20 more of webbing and restring it.

Deep Outdoors or OMS harnesses are nice but the Fastex buckles add a 'potential' failure point or may get cracked if you step on them or drop a tank on them by accident.

Why spend $300-600 for a harness when you can spend about $180?

Finally go that 2 piece STA for my Matrix. Much better than just threading the straps throught the backplate. And MUCH easier to strap the tank on in he first place.

As far as service:

We were at Beneath the Sea also, and they were happy to answer our ten billion questions

Everytime Ive called or sent an email I got a very quick response

My buddy had a problem with his wing, they told him to go to the dealer, but after some *****ing "I WANT TO DIVE THIS WEEKEND!" They sent a new one overnight and threw in a T Shirt

I've been looking at the harmony series myself. My LDS has been pushing them as well as an instructor and dm that I know. And the LDS has them for $100 off right now so I would be interested in anybodies experiences with them as well.
