So I work in an airport and know a few tsa officials and they all told me never remove the stickers from anything. Most of the time they just look at it to make sure it’s not an explosive device but if they see the stickers were removed they almost always reject it. They did tell me that they have no issues with allowing me to fly with the batteries I have once the red cap is on. They also said battery transportation is getting a lot more common due to the fact everything is battery powered and the construction of batteries are alot better than 10 years ago so more and more is becoming allowed. Also on my part as an aircraft mechanic the actual aircraft batteries are way more prone to failure than a commercially available power tool battery
