It should be fairly open. It's mid hurricane season which means less Cruise ship traffic
We will be there Oct. 14th thru 24th, were planning on doing 5 nights up in the Lagun area then 5 in town. Sneaking some real estate shopping in with some diving, or vice versa.

Anyone booked or planning to book Coral Estates for February 1st? We will be there for three weeks. Would be great to dive with some SB people.

I want to go but that's around Ramadan's time, not good for me, unfortunately. I'd stay at Coral Estates for sure. I'd love to dive with somebody especially to share the driving around the island and keep company.

I wish you a great time and awesome diving there.

Less than a month to go for our visit. While we will mainly be doing guided dives split between Dive Bus, Ocean Encounters, and Go West, we also want to do some independent shore dives in the afternoon. While at Lions Dive, wanted to try out their house reef (Stella Maris). Besides making sure we have a surface marker buoy and staying on the surface in the channel while swimming out to the reef, anything special we should be aware of?

Other thing we did last year while at Lions Dive was a night snorkeling inside the protected shallows of Mambo Beach along the sea wall. Saw lots of crabs, lobsters and shrimp in a very relaxed and safe environment. Would highly recommend to anyone staying at Lions Dive.
