Daydreaming of Curacao

We really loved Coral Estates except that the food service was so slow, we left twice. I liked it a lot more than Lions Dive Hotel, where I stayed my first and third visits to Curacao. After Coral Estates, Lions Dive felt a little dirty and seedy.
What didn't you like about Coral Estates?

I agree about the pillows and shower issue and the food and service were abysmal. But the ice machine worked when we were there and we didn't have to pay to use the beach - that was for people who aren't staying there! We didn't order anything most days we hung out all day at the beach.
We did like being in between Willemstad and the west beaches. I know it had flaws and my husband did say they should take the luxury out of the name but I thought for the money, it was a better value than Lion's Dive. I guess I don't stay at too many high-end places to really compare!!

Great video!!! When we dove at the Dive Bus' house reef, we say baby trunkfish!! I love those cute fish!
