I do post about diving accidents that I read about in the news but Curacao incidents seldom make my news feed. One recent accident did show up when I searched recent news...
French tourist dies in diving accident at Coral Cliff

WILLEMSTAD - A French tourist tragically died this afternoon in a diving accident at Coral Cliff. Around 2:00 PM, the police were alerted about a possible drowning incident.
The woman became unwell while underwater. Her partner brought her to the surface, where coast guard personnel were deployed to assist. Despite efforts to resuscitate her, the attempts were unsuccessful.
A forensic doctor confirmed the woman’s death. At the request of the Public Prosecution Service, the body was seized for further investigation.

French tourist dies in diving accident at Coral Cliff

I don’t think that’s it. The woman who works at GoWest told me it happened Saturday the 25th and people were thinking the woman was diving alone and the Go west woman said that the deceased would never do that.
I don’t really need to know details. I was just shocked to hear of a death here as I haven’t heard of many - thankfully.
