I don't think I'll ever get tired of discovering a new seahorse on the reef! Anyone else? What's your favorite marine animal to find in Curacao?

I love those fish that are called cowfish or trunkfish, They are chubby with a flat bottom! I also am amazed at sea turtles and saw six of them at Daibooi beach when snorkeling when there was a big net the local fishermen put out. I wasn't understanding how that whole net worked - there were thousands of fish caught in it of all kinds. :(
 
For those planning to head here soon, here's a little conditions update! We've been having a rainier than usual February, but still just short bursts of heavy rain followed by sunny skies :-) Pro tip, go underwater anyway!

Water temp hit 26C/80F and will probably stay right around there for at least another month or so. So don't forget to pack your neoprene! I personally won't dive without my heated vest anymore 🤣
 
It is 18F here.... this is where a heated vest is needed...

No, that's when you stay in bed and drink hot chocolate :P
