Headed to Curacao in two days, the 25th! So excited! Will report back!
If you don't have your time already scheduled out, consider a trip over to Cas Abou. Rent a tank from BDiving (and use their facilities right on the beach, you can park right by their place), ask for intel on any recent sitings (seahorses, frogfish etc.) and enjoy your dive. After the dive spend some time on the beach and grab a bite to eat. It doesn't get much better. Enjoy your trip

And a night dive at Coral Estate is supposed to be really good. Been twice in the restaurant overseeing their beach and seeing all the lamps underwater is always great!

I snorkled there in November and it was fabulous! We are going there on Tuesday - we were going to snorkel but maybe we will dive! Thank you!

OH, I don't know if I'm brave enough for that yet, but I'll ask them! Thank you so much. :)

Hi, I just saw on Facebook that someone was looking for a rental at Coral Estates where we are staying because their mother in law died in a diving accident yesterday (Saturday) at Lagun. I can't find anything on it. Has anyone heard about this?
We just had a great dive at Coral Estates in which divemaster Janette really made us feel safe and comfortable in the water. Best dive I've had and I wasn't nervous any more. I was looking forward to diving at Go West tomorrow and I saw this terrible news.
Ugh. Just hits hard. Poor woman.

I'll be staying and diving there middle of February, so I'm hoping it's a nice place to stay and the dive op is organized enough to provide a decent supply of tanks. :)
We are at Coral Estates and did a guided dive which turned into a refresher dive yesterday. Tony is the manager and his wife Janette was our dive guide. They were great! She made me feel safe and comfortable for the first time. I did a refresher last year after 33 years of not diving and I never dove again after our first dives in 1989. I can't say enough good things about Janette, Tony and Shannon, another dive master. They are wonderful and the shop is clean, organized and has enough of what you need. Feel free to message me with any questions.

Confirmed with two dive shops today that a woman did die in a diving accident at Playa Laguna. One woman said she was found alone but knows the woman and she would never dive alone. Looks like the media are calling it a “swimming accident.” Poor woman.
