DAN insurance question

I am heading down to Belize in the next few weeks and am not sure if my DAN asia pacific insurance covers me for diving down there or if it is just while diving in the asia pacific region. Any help with this would be appreciated as I want to make sure I am covered.

Wish I could give you a better answer but the best will be when you call DAN!!! Give them a quick call. I'm sure they would love to help you out and get you squared away so you have coverage. I think if you have more local coverage your dives from afar would be covered but I AM GUESSING. Just call them.

As always you should contact the insurance agency, but it's in the PDS. You did read the PDS right??

Anyway, yes it's worldwide, as long as Australia remains your primary place of residence. It's an Australian based policy underwriter as you live in Australia, but it covers you wherever you dive, as long as it's within the restrictions of the policy around depth etc
If you move to Belize or stay out of the country too long (i think it's 3 months) then you might have to change to a different policy provider such as DAN US.

You should ring or email them though for confirmation (having it in writing is a good thing).

I'm not sure this is accurate (but I didn't read the PDS, so... ). Anyway, I moved from Australia to China (obviously still within AP region for DAN) a few years back and didn't have to change anything as I recall (I did inform DAN at the time).
