Those older, large, robust first stages were from a time when divers usually dived locally. Dive travel mandated much lighter first stages, and the use of more plastic parts. But that doesn’t translate into better wear and tear, or even into better performance. What did was the ability to print out the plastic parts to much tighter specs that the metal parts, which Dacor was doing with its second stages toward the end of Dacor’s life.

Just did the same service to an Enduro.
However, I can't find the proper cracking number for the 2nd stage. Anyone know where they should be set?
Initial inspection had the IP at 124, and the CE at about 2.6 on the Magnahelic. Manual states 140 for the IP, but I only have the 1st stage manual handy. 2.6 is quite the effort!

And the Extreme 2nd needed a custom seat punched, because the originals are long gone.

Just did the same with a Dacor Enduro Plus that the LP seat was completelly crystalized and broke to pieces.
I've used a sheet of EPDM rubber and glued with cyanoacrilate.

Mate whilst I get the superglue thing, that will stick good to the epdm but not so much to that plastic

If you give it a bit of a think in this situation the encapsulating suction power of RTV wins hands down

and allows you the silicone seat material option
