Y'know, it kinda makes me think: we here on the board argue amongst ourselves about equipment, techniques, choices; sometimes to the point where feelings are hurt, people leave SB, etc. What we might think about doing is putting some of that energy towards preventing stupid crap like this: http://community.webshots.com/photo/30489346/30489448mpbykzcRfv

What the hell is this dumba** doing to that poor puffer?

-edit: Do'h, travelem beat me to it.

I agree. It would be great to do something to fine these people and prevent it from happening again. Any ideas where we can start?

Someone can talk to DWM or find those people in their city!!!

Well, I'm adding my feelings on the matter to their guestbook. At least others that view the pictures will see that such actions are not viewed favorably and hopefully not mimic their actions.

A start could be to send a complaint letter to the company (if ID'd correctly) with example pictures. Does Mexico have a gov't run marine wildlife dept.? It'd be tough to change a company's policies (probably moreso in a different country), but it might be a start.

There are laws against this kind of stuff in the Marine Parks in Cozumel aren't there? Surely if the Dive OP put a guide in the water they saw what was going on. They should be banned from diving.
Here is something I found by doing a search on the albums owner. Apparently she's been to Cozumel a few times.
