I've got a wetwear 5 mil. Love the suit, and it was a pleasure to work with them.

Thanks for all the feedback, including the links to Harvey's, Otter Bay and JMJ. Hadn't seen those yet. Choices, choices, choices!!!

Thanks again!

Neoprene shrank? Hmm...

Turned stiff too. While it fit well for several dives I think the wind, changes in temperature affected the suit as it hung in a well shaded, but outdoor hut during dives. I never experienced shrinkage like that before. And I've had Rubatex suits before. Bummer to pay top dollar and have it change on you during the course of 3-4 weeks.:cool2:

Awful suits!!!!! I was lucky that I live 30 minutes away, because I brought my suit back for repairs no less than 6 times in the first 7 months. On the plus side she did honor her warranty and did not charge me for repairs. It was comical the last time I was there she said my warranty was probably up because she only offers a 2 year warranty,I produced a recipt showing I only had the suit 1 year .

That sounds like a chemical contamination of some sort.

What does it cost to have a wetsuit custom made? I would have thought for about the price of a custom wetsuit you could buy a lower-end drysuit.
