Well I guess the Frog Fish location is a secret.

Can't get anyone to answer on the board or by PM.

Does that mean that if you find anything neat on Curacao that you can't tell anyone, lest they also find it?

Have they taken the road signs on the island down too?

Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Too much fun!!

11 days until the secret Frog Fish search begins. I ain't telling where it is either!!

Since Suzy was posting about it, I gather it is at Pierbaii? I can never seem to find frogfish no matter where they are...

Road signs? We don't need no stinking road signs.

I'd tell you but I had trouble seeing 2 of them in one photo that Suzy posted, let alone in the great blue sea. Sounds like you're due for a dive with the Dive Bus.... David was on the boat with OEW when that one was spotted so, you'll be sure to hear about it. Korsu took a photo of not one but 2 octopus fighting on the reef at Alice In Wonderland. I, again can't seem to find either one.... We'll see the Florida crew and the start of the World Cup all on the same day, possibly a frog fish....
and yeah, yeah, yeah... you say octopi, I say octopus

Sometimes I think looking for that frogfish "about 15 minutes to the right of the entry point, at about 36' near the whip coral and just behind the barrel sponge" is merely an aquatic version of those snipe hunts that used to occur on boy scout camping trips. :chuckle:

Well there were 2 frogfish at Pierbaai - one in the blade fire coral ("about 15 minutes to the right of the entry point, at about 36' near the whip coral and just behind the barrel sponge" ;) ) and the other that's gone into cloaking mode was right by the entrance to the bay here. We always tell the divers where they are - IF they ask... ;)

And there are 2 at Porto Mari... Well there are probably thousands, but only 2 that Mark managed to spot!

Go, seek, and you shall find :) (Well, you probably won't but you'll see all sorts of other cool stuff whilst you're seeking!)

Enjoy,
Suzy

The Dive Bus - HOME

Frogfish are everywhere, just like Parrot fish:eyebrow:

The two seen by the Dive Bus were at Kalki, 113 kicks (with jet fins) from the dock, turn
right at the sign for Willibrordus and look for the 17th purple sponge, 308.4 cms of water.

The pair is gone at Kalki, the male left first but sometimes the female just eats him
(no comment) and the female was not around her spot as of three days ago.

Will keep an eye out for you but yes we are secretive about FF because they leave when their privacy is interrupted to much!
