Suzy - You can count on seeing me while on the East end. I've read wonderful reviews about your operation and I'm looking forward to diving with your gang. My plans aren't entirely concrete yet, but you'll be hearing back from me to work out a schedule sometime next week.

Hi Joyce,

Unfortunately All West Apartments are already booked out for most of the time in the second half of July. I hope Sunshine can help you out with a place to sleep :) If not, you might also have a look at Nos Krusero. Nos Krusero has nice apartments, and is located on the road right above Playa Kalki and OEW.

I look forward to have you diving with us! As Sunshine mentioned already, there will be some SB members in Westpoint at the same time who have visited us before, so you will have plenty of buddies to dive with from boat or shore. If you want to make reservations ahead for specific boat trips, please email to info@oceanencounterswest.com. You will find lots of information about our boat dive schedule and dive sites on our homepage. If you have any further questions, please just let us know, and we will be glad to help!

See you soon

Andreas

Joyce that was the first JD to post, wait for it..... the second will be posting as well.
If you end up not staying in the West, plan on a shore dive with us on the 22nd; 2 JDs (and all), Scubby, David, Korsu and me. It's a big reef, it won't be crowded.

I guess I have no choice but to post something, now...:)

Wow, I normally have no plans except to stay in the water as much as possible. Now I am trying to keep my schedule right; so let's see, a gang dive at Playa Kalki on the 22nd. Okay, I got it.

Andreas - Thanks for the input! Just got off the phone with Louis at All West and they've got a studio for me so it's a go. I'm still undecided if I'll be arriving on the West end on the 18th or the 21st, but you'll be hearing from me shortly to make reservations. From what I've read, Mushroom Forest, Watamula and Alice (House Reef) are a must-do, but I've also read great reviews of Rediho, Jeremi, Santa Cruz and Lagun. I've got a copy of your schedule and I look forward to seeing you and diving with your crew end of June.

jd950 - Thanks for posting, I look forward to meeting you! We already have the fundamentals in common, "no plans except to stay in the water as much as possible". My philosophy exactly.

Sunshine, you mean this one???? She is quite preggers.
Ms FF's husband wasn't there today.

Then I'll have to keep a sharp eye on Korsu. Thanks for posting Korsu. Great photo.

Many of my dive friends (who've never been to Curacao), keep asking why I chose Curacao over Bonaire. But from all of my reading and research, divers who've been to both places give a bigger thumbs up to Curacao.

I look forward to meeting all you Curacao regulars who are "in the know".
