CT Divers!

well, i havent dove since last monday (decided to pass on Charlie this weekend) and im getting the itch.

anyone diving around CT this weekend that needs a buddy or two? a friend of mine (dreamweaver) and i are looking for a shore/lake dive in CT.

the only shore diving we've done in CT is stonington... where else we should try?

Not sure where you're located, but you could take the trip up to RI and dive Ft. Wetherill in Jamestown. Lots of people come up from CT to go there.

If you decide to do Wetherill and you're diving Saturday let me know and maybe I'll be able to tag along.

When you get to the end of South Water St turn left over the RR tracks and park in the little lot right on the water.
Look for the SECONN flag,

This is a shallow dive 3 - 25 ft, with little current.
Visibility can be very good, and it can be very bad.
You make your own decision as to whether to dive or not.

Yep, with my son Chris. I did this dive last november and the vis was the worst I have ever had. Could not see my hand in front of my face. but that does not mean that Sunday won't be the same.

I went to your Website saw that you did the Abyss with Dave (jacks dive shop). I did that with him the weekend before. Very cool drop down the wall. I could not get over how dark it was at depth. And the bridge, could have spent all day there. One of the guys pulled old milk bottles out from there. All in all a good day.
