I'm sure somebody will be out there. Just walk around and ask if they are "Swampers". You'll get some funny looks but you'll meet some folks too:14:
Right now everybody is trying get certified or pack in a dive or 2 before it gets cold.
If you have a 5-7 mil. suit for colder water then CSSP is pretty nice with great Vis. during the Winter. Some of Us like to go out there sometimes. Keep a watchfull eye out here at SB for some lake dives during the next few months too. Lake Murray, OK. is pretty close to you. That place is good for a day of diving. In fact it's perfect !! On the way up you can drop off Uncle Sid at the Adult Video store near the Red River and then leave anybody else that comes along that does not dive at Winstar Casino. Then you can just head to the lake a few miles away and have great time

Everybody is Happy :D

Actually, I'm planning on being in front of my TV, watching the Texas-Texas Tech game. I'm pretty sure I won't have time to do both, so the diving this weekend will have to wait.

Think I am working.

ScubaTexan:
I thought you were going diving at Travis this weekend...

That was the plan,,,,,my wife had other ideas for Sat. evening,,,,so I got a rain-check of sorts---to be honest I never did get the rain-check, just my pant configuration was in question! So will be working part of the day on Sat. at the scuba shop so Debra can get some R&R.

Alan,
Those of us that have worked with diveshops and have family are very aware how things can change.

You know that you are welcome to come out and go divng with this crowd; they are giving you grief cause you canned the weekend. besides are you sure you want to dive with a bunch of rogues like us? :hoondidi:

I think we'll just nickname you "tripod." :D

Later, Andrew

Yes, you get a rain check :) Not sure when the next time I'll be heading down to Travis, Nov is a busy dive month for me, be in Cortez until the 6th then the 19th I'm off to cave country. Probably won't hit Travis again until December.

cool...I guess I will take your advise Timeliner. I will just get there early and walk around and see what I see. I will be the one in a loud silver / black Vette, over close to the rescue dock. Hopefully, I will get to meet more of you on Saturday....So, if you see someone walking around like he doesn't know anyone...Just yell Kenny!..:D
