I know in Tropical regions weather is a little unpredictable. Has anyone had any experience with Cozumel in July? I want to go but a little worried that I will be rained out the whole trip. I am unable to go in June due to work.

Thanks.

Over the past twenty years, we have vacationed in Cozumel every August. Rain comes and goes, it doesn't hang around. We have lost a few days of diving to storms, but not very many.

I usually go every July....like Jlyle says the rain comes and goes...it feels pretty good when it does rain...it is hot there in July....:D

From historical weather charts June actually is the so called wettest month, so maybe working through June isnt such a bad thing?

Also

This year has been weird. Speaking to residents here, it's the coldest, rainiest, dryest... you name it.

It was raining throughout the dry period, it's been really cold for long periods of time, loads of Nortes, it's been raining quite heavily in April, who knows what's gonna happen.

But, it's not just here, this is global, so it don't really matter where you go, it's going to be fairly unpredictable.

Nobody can predict the weather, sit back and don't worry.

I have been to Coz in July for the past 5 years, and the weather has never been a issue. It is so hot some days, a little shower is a blessing:D

Thanks everyone for the tips. I think I'm going to go ahead and book for late July or early August.

Happy Diving

You could very well see rain every day and never be hit by a drop. Small rain cells will often pass through but they are quite small and move fairly quickly; with sunshine everywhere else.

Enjoy.
