Hi folks, well I thought I was going to Bali in August, but frequent flier miles don't necessarily get you where you want to go. I'll be traveling solo for a week of diving in Coz and then will meet my family for some time in Isla Mujeres, Cancun, and Tulum. Pretty great vacation.
So my question for you: For me Coz will be dive, dive, dive... I want to dive challenging sites (3 - 4 tanks) daily with an outfit and lodging where I can leave my gear on the pier, has fast reliable boats (I prefer small boats but don't mind large), steel 100's, nitrox, knowledgeable DMs, prefer in town where I can try local food, don't mind sharing a room. Since it's August, I want AC.

I might be able to get in a dive in Tulum, any recommendations for a Dive shop or family friendly hotel?
Can anyone recommend an outfit on Isla Mujeres, for whale shark encounters?
