What to wear

To take the catamaran from Cancun to Isla Mujeres, you should avoid clothing that can easily get caught in any part of the boat. Avoid pants or t-shirts with holes and wear comfortable casual or beachwear. If you wish to take photos of your visit to the island, it is best to carry your extra items in a handbag.

Any time the open bar is the biggest attraction I cringe. No thanks

We stay at a hotel on Isla's Playa Norte and these are the boats that we loath. You get around 50 or more of them moored just off the beach and all of them have their own music cranked to 1000 with their customers drunk and using the ocean as a toilet. Thank god they moved the mooring line back so they aren't literally right on top of us on the beach. I wish they'd ban them completely.
