we're staying at La Ceiba and diving with Martin also 4th -13th, see you at Chopa Loca & on the boat!

I've made a list of everyone I can find that will be there while we are, so far I count 9.

still looking for a crime scene to get some tape!

I will be looking for you there. I got my ID tag ready.

What is the battery for, does that thing glow in the dark, just in case your on a night dive. Just cut all this tape, have fun and write a trip report!

I think that I'll make myself one of those. It looks like a similar contraption to what I rig on my dogs and horses during hunting season!!!!
Sometimes I add the word..."HORSE"... on the side of my horses with bright orange paint...but that assumes that the guy stumbling around with a 7mm magnum can read.....
:11:

The battery was to show scale, maybe I should add some flashing LEDs.

I know what you mean DD, I gave up hunting, toooo many people moving in from the big cites who want to be a local. They buy a gun and a copy of Outdoor Life so they know what a deer looks like.....and they still shoot dogs, cows and anything else with at least 2 legs.

Some friends and I bow-hunt elk during the bow/black powder season in mid-September. You can continue to bow-hunt into high power rifle season. Last October, a friend of mine was bow-hunting when a bullet hit his knife which was in a sheath attached to his belt....it deflected and blew most of his butt cheek off. He crawled for hours and barely made it to the trail and was rescued before he bled or froze to death.
I also know an outfitter who was shot through his leg while he was sitting in the saddle on his horse. The bullet passed through his leg and killed his horse. What are these people looking at through their scopes? I steer clear of the woods during high power season these days!!
So, I have a lot of orange surveyor's tape left over, now!!!! (This gets us back to the topic without actually highjacking the thread!)

Looks like I'll have to grab some of that yellow construction tape from work!

I'll be staying right next to you at Villablanca.

Cool. Come by and see us at Caribe Blu. If you ask at the dive shop, they will probably know where we are; ask Jeanie (the manager) where Gordon from Austin is. We pretty much always have cold cervesa to spare.

There will be no firearms, I hope. ;^)

Cheers,
