Folks in Calgary & Vancouver are waiting for Mexican kittens. Can you help? Letter from Coz HS:
Hi to all.
Spring in Cozumel always stuns with beautiful scenery, warm waters, and hundreds of tiny kittens born on the island! The Cozumel Humane Society shelter is overflowing with babies now. A few of them are pictured below...
We have a wonderful friend in Vancouver who takes some of our kittens and re-homes them with good families that she screens carefully. She has greatly helped us over the years, and has also helped an organization in Playa del Carment that we work with via mutual aid: Coco's Cat Rescue.
Coco's Cat Rescue has a kitty bound for Calgary if anybody is going that way.
All you have to do is agree to take the kitties as underseat carry-ons and clear them at Canadian Customs. We do everything else for you: Bring the kittens to you at the airport and meet you at flight check in; Provide the carrier and all necessary paperwork; Make the kittens' departure arrangements; Pay their travel fare. We just need a person attached to each carrier we send. (One carrier may contain two or more kittens.) Many tourists have escorted animals for us and say they would do it again in a heartbeat.
Departurefrom either Cancun or Cozumel airport works for us.
Please let Deb (deborah de la mar) know if you can help.
Gracias,
