I have copies I printed when I could find them, but I may try the online FMM - going to Cabo in a couple of weeks.

DO NOT USE any site but the official MX sites. Who know what the scam sites are doing with your info. It is completely free from the MX Gob!!

And you can do customs, one per family, but Cancun does not want them and I think Cozumel is moving there too. if you do it, choose Cancun as the office then Cozumel as the checkpoint if flying to Cozumel.

I wouldn't be so sure. I seem to recall back during the swine flu of 2010, Mexico was taking temperatures and asking questions of passengers as they arrived.

Hmm... you are right they did.

However, I am doing to say the part that DD quoted is for someone flying through MX, so if you are going to land say in DF and then fly to Cozumel or even some other country, you have to do it. Read it and think that:

"Do I need to complete the Health Questionnaire if I'm a passenger coming from an international flight with Mexico as a destination?
And it is. All foreigners that have as a destination any Mexican airport must complete the Health Questionnaire at the Vuela Seguro site, either when they arrive, or 12 hours before their arrival. All passengers with boarding pass must complete their Questionnaire, regardless if age and nationality."

If you read the OTHER FAQ, I think it clearly says entering an airport and getting on a plane in MX:

"What is the Obligatory Health Questionnaire for?
Like in any other country, Mexico established a Health Questionnaire to enter the airport and board your aircraft. At the end of the seven sections of the questionnaire, a personal QR Code and a green or yellow sign will be generated. If your personal QR Code is green, you can immediately access the security check at the airport. If you or any of your travel companions gets a yellow QR Code, you must go to the security filter and undergo a face-to-face examination by an authorized doctor. This doctor will define if he allows your access to the plane or not, due to risk of infection."

EDIT; no seems to be looking at the entry health questionnaires either. The one to be done prior entry into Mexico is still on the books but I stopped filling it out in the fall of 2000 (about a dozen trips back).

Is that what you meant to say? I would hazard a guess that you've been to Cozumel more than a dozen times in the past 20+ years

That's the site I've been using, but Chief is probably right that it'd be safer to use the government site. I changed my bookmarks. You can fill it out up to a month in advance, print it and carry it instead of hoping that the airline has them on board or trying to find them while in the Immigration line. The Customs form cannot be done until a couple of days before departure, but I don't keep a printer at home - get my daughter to print & mail me what little I print, so I get her to print a blank one I can fill out by hand.

While we are on helpful hints, it's good to carry a copy of your Passport info page and the spare photo you got when you got your PP photo together in a little ziplock inside a different bag than you carry your PP. That helped a lot when my daughter let my granddaughter carry her own PP in China where you have to carry it & show it often, which led to it being lost at a subway station. They couldn't check into the next hotel without it or the Embassy forms showing that she applied for replacement. They came home a few days late even with the best FedExing and all.

I lost my FFM card one and it was easy to replace at an office at the airport, but I've heard that it's a bigger hassle now with a trip into town so now keep it inside my passport, all in a ziplock so I won't let it fall out, then locked in the room safe with most of my cash.

Yes, agreed. I had used the link in my post as an example because I had it bookmarked along with other sites to get documents, as well as the official site - wish I would have scrolled down farther on my list instead of using the one I did when I typed that post- it IS a 3rd party site, and although used by some and it does work as @DandyDon has used it, it is a 3rd party site. I had only considered using the official govt site when I went to Coz this last time, but didn't even want to put my info there! Will use the site @cvchief shared (linked below) for Cabo trip, but knowing me, if it doesn't come out looking like the paper copies, I'll probably also fill in the copies I have.
