My work suit, which was custom made, has an adjustable Apeks low profile on the wrist.

I dive an off the peg suit with a shoulder dump when not working. The wrist dump is an answer looking for a problem that creates a bunch more.

This is a photo of the cuff dump on my first drysuit.

After this suit was worn out, the next one had a shoulder dump. No plans to ever have another cuff dump.

Did this suit only have a cuff dump?

Come on now you didn't really got it did you!

"Converting" Sitech Shoulder Dump to Cuff Dump – Tips Needed

I’m thinking about "relocating" the Sitech shoulder dump valve on my drysuit and "replacing" it with a cuff dump instead.

Do you see here chief that what you are suggesting is contradictory

In any event, just close the shoulder dump all the way and put a separate low profile dump in the wrist, if you don’t like it, take it out and seal it up and you still have the shoulder valve.
If you you get comfortable, take the shoulder valve out.

That’s exactly the conclusion I came to as well.

I’m planning to install the Sitech 13220 valve on the shoulder, and move the existing valve to the wrist area near the cuff.

This way, I can test the setup and still keep the shoulder valve in place as a backup.

Thanks a lot!
