Added safety... of course I don't see the point of the hose-less air integrated computer in the first place.

If you keep adding safety and redundancy to your gear, there comes a point where you can't even get up and walk much less dive.

Hoseless air integrated computer is a luxury and not a necessity. Same goes for the plain jane computer. It's a convenience and not a necessity in any way, as someone of your skills and experience already know.
