I got a new computer and was looking at the end that connects to the first stage and all I can see is a small hole in it that's barely visible. Is this right or is this a manufacturing defect?

Yes, the small 'hole' IS the correct size, a HP (high Pressure) outlet is supposed to be VERY small, so small you can barely see it, it doesn't take much space for 3000 psi gas to find it's way into that space.....just enough space to allow the HP device to 'feel' the tank gas pressure. Just be careful to keep that little 'pore' clean/clear and not let debris get in there.

Oh ok, good. Thanks
