You also may try and sell it locally, because if you paid $170 for a mask and snorkel (among other things) you got ripped off man, and I mean seriously! So your best bet is to find a newbie that was as ignorant as you were when you bought this stuff!

Well I dont disput anything the lead was .40 a lb its as good as gold so you do the math however I do know that you cant buy this at a lower rate. It's all top of the line and I am out of work so this stuff needs to find another home. Within the next couple of days I will get a chance to get to my storage bin and get some pics I'm currently watching my 10month old and its not real easy to keep up.

I dont really care if you want this stuff per piece but was really looking forward to it all going I'm taking a considerable loss at the price I listed but I'm not looking to get my money back I'm just looking to make something back and help my family for the holidays until I can get back to work. Its really nice to know how friendly everyone is its almost as friendly as a metal detecting fourm Also considering I wear 46lbs of lead it would be safe to say I fit in the XL range common sence?

the most expensive scubapro mask (that wasnt a full face mask) i found was $130. so is it a frameless scubapro mask with a $40 snorkel? mask looks like this?

I'm sorry I wasnt prepared to get any results or people asking and to be honest I really dont feel like digging threw a storage bin to take pics unless someone has an interest. Look what just posting and laying it out there has done. If you have a genuine interest in the scuba equipment then PM me and I'll go and take some pics ok I really dont think thats very hard.

I really dont want to be told how to dive and what not I didnt put the offer out there for lessons I put the offer out there so both of us could profit from what ever loss I encountered while putting my toe in the water and thankyou to the moderators.

OK, folks are interested.

Realize that most here (and most divers) already have gear so selling the entire lot as a package, while easy on you, is not what *most* folks are looking to do. Personal fit items don't work for the majority of any audience including things like masks that are not *standardized*.

If I was selling this, I'd list it item by item with a description of each item, the size, and price you want. Photo's are a nice to have, but I've purchased many things off SB sans photo.

I was not trying to bust your chops, but I think the approach you have taken won't work. It's also a difficult market as a LOT of people are out of work and selling off stuff.

If you want this stuff to sell you have to make things easy on the buyer. Selling the entire lot MIGHT work if it was half again the price you posted, but realize that retailers can get this stuff new for what you are selling it for, or less, with the taggers attached!

If I can give some helpful advice, if you want to generate some interest in the items you're trying to sell, do the following:

1.) do some research on other threads and see what equipment is going for. No one is going to pay $170 for a used mask/snorkel set.
2.) list the items by Brand/model/make/color/size
3.) Put prices you want for each item.
4.) Put up estimated shipping, of state if it's included or not.
5.) put up pictures. If you don't know how to do that, just ask. we'll be glad to help. A picture is worth a thousand words. People can't touch/see it before they buy it. So they want to know what they are buying and how it looks. It's condition, etc. just saying it's "almost new" doesn't cut it as people have claimed that before and it was crap.



If you don't want to dig through the storage bin, that's your decision. But if you want to sell the stuff, you need to go to at least some effort. Otherwise you'll get what you put into it. (nothing...)

I want to see what Cave diver said, i'm sure its right on the money as most of his posts are. So even without knowing I second his response. As far as your gear you are selling... It is about time you list the model or size. You are not going to get the interest you keep talking about without it regardless of pictures. But by the way, pictures are almost a necessity. If there are scratches that doesn't necessarily matter some people like me its whether the price reflects those dings and scratchs.

Without knowing WHAT you got (ScubaPro makes more than one model of everything) it is impossible to determine what you are selling.

I didnt get ripped off by BCD is still curemtly selling for $450 I'm asking $300 the pic is in another tread also posted the spare air which sold for $250 on the internet and as I can tell the price for this item went up since I purchased it and am now selling that item for $150 and I took it down twice. So realisticly I didnt get ripped off I purchased the equipment I saw to fit my best interest. Both items now are posted and have pics. You cant get the BCD for under $450 and you cant get a sapre air tank for until $250. Maybe my email is misleading but the production that I am selling I mean dont be so ****** lazy and look this stuff up.
