Hello,

Does anybody have an idea, what is the purpose of the additional compact exhaust diffuser which goes along with XTX50 second stage? It's a bit lighter - that's all?
Smaller size, as far as I understand, has disadvantage becouse of exhaust bubbles in front of mask.

Although, it might be considered good for a stage. Is that the idea?
Thanks.

I have purchased 4 Apeks second stages in the past year (XTC50's & XTX200's) and all were shipped with the extended exhaust diffuser all ready installed. I really have no idea why anyone would desire the narrower option included with the purchase which I guess is lighter but is more accurately described as once again narrower...

I put the narrower exhaust T on my bungeed back-up. I don't notice that much of a difference in routing the bubbles, but it feels like it gives me a bit more room for head movements when it's hanging under my chin.
