Yep - I use it with a 3M pad. Gone! Rub lightly tho, if you don't want scratches. Maybe just the toothpaste, but I dont mind shallow scatches. It writes easier I think.
In the water you can always pick up a handful of sand and rub it to take the writing away. I always sand my slates to take the shine off, makes them easier to write on.
I used some toothpaste (vanilla mint) and one of those automatic electrictoothbrush things. Took a few minutes to get it all off, scribbles from lots of dives were all over the back of the thing...
I couldn't find that eraser, and toothpaste was handy.
I just went and tried the magic eraser... nothing. What am I doing wrong (and, yes, I got it wet first- I was using that thing on all kinds of marks on my walls and it wasn't working until someone asked me that- boy did I feel dumb- I mean, it's IN the instructions...)?
