Nop the watch can last a full month on a full charge. I will check the battery level before leaving on the trip. On the other hand the charger is very small and the watch come in a very nifty case so the entire outfit travels very well.

No Fish:
I have a Cyber Aqualand and like it a lot. One thing you have to remember, it is not a full fledged dive computer. However, you will find it easy to use to track your dives, depth, time, temp, surface interval........ etc... It is reasonably accurate and agrees well with my computer. The ascent feature is nice. Beeps when you exceed the settings.

The software is rudimentary but works. You can even put some pictures in the log.

Don't throw out your tables yet if you don't use a computer too. Read the instructions well. It will make things a lot easier. Once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze.

What do you meen that it is not a"full fledged dive computer". This bad boy uses da DCIM algorithm that is both very secure and precise? I will no use it as a primary because it a littel hard to read, manely because of the small LCD screen but other than that is an excellent dive wacht

I bought one last week. Used it on a dive at 65' in the murky Atlantic off of VA. I could see the display very well. One push of a button and it shows the level of Nitr in your system.

I'm a new guy for diving and survey the computer watch for a long time.
I have some problems with Cyber Aqualand Nx.
1.Some one says this computer couldn't change unit(m/ft, C/F). Really?(I'm used the metric unit.)
2.Is there any AC adapter with the charger? If I forget do charging. Is there something wrong with this computer?
3.What's the difference between IrDA and USB communication? I mean edit dive-log on PC.

Thx a lot for your reply.

Hi there. I reviewed this computer in Autumn last year. It is a fully fledged dive computer and I have to say I really liked it.

Preferred it to my reliable Stinger. I'm a warm water diver so the display is no issue. Although Citizen have done a decent job of making it as clear as possible.

Hope its useful!

I find the japanese web-site, it's english version.

There are some interactive flash version web-pages to experience Cyber Aqualand Nx.
You guy could try this. I think it's so cool. :-)
Maybe I will purchase one, ha ha...(I also review Suunto's Stinger recently.)

I got this watch new and I used it on a months worth of dives in Thailand as a backup for my Oceanic Pro Plus 2. I am quite happy with the Cyber Aqualand NX and like the dive profile feature after you have surfaced. The only bad thing about this watch I can say is that you have to buy either Imperial or Metric versions and cannot switch between units. This makes no sense to me since most other computers will do this. Otherwise I really like it as a timepiece and dive computer. It is nice you can turn the alarms off when you don't want the thing beeping all the time. I dove with it daily for a month and had no problems with viewing the interface although it did run out of charge after about a month and went into time mode(should have brought the charger). There is no AC adapter for this watch as the charger uses 4 AA batteries which isn't bad when your traveling and dealing with cords and different voltages. The watch can transfer data via Infrared or USB and I've had no trouble with USB download of info. The CapGm upload software is nice for setting up the watch without pressing all sorts of button sequences. I am happy with my purchase and recommend this watch overall as a backup. Just wish Citizen would address and incorporate the imperial/metric unit issue.

yuen,

1) you must purchase either metric or imperial
2) charger is battery operated (4 aa) which makes it uber portable
3) usb is physically connected with usb cable irda is infra red connection obviousle needing compatible computer connection

hope this helps....

citizen cyber nx is a quality compromise of all things considered in a wrist mount computer. you name it, it delivers: portable charging, no battery replacement, middle of the road deco model, first rate timepiece, easily navigated menu structure, easily readable day and night in an attractively small package, and a graphical representation of your dives which raises it's cool factor. all other questions and concerns regarding the cyber nx is in it's downloadable manual. the only factor the nx does not monitor is air supply. apart from that, it proves the old saying "good things come in small packages".

Thanks for your recommendations.
I bought 2 suunto-mosquito, one for me and other one for my wife, because they are cheaper than ONE Nx in my country. (Limited in budget~~sighed~~)
