I live in Thailand. I have to go back and forth from the US often. I would highly reccomend flying EVA air.

Thanks KG, Have been looking on their website and seems really good price available, also nice to know that their service is good too.

cheers, Greg

Dorsetboy me old china!

Am afraid our dive on Koh Tao will not be happening soon. Have moved on to pasteurs new.

As for the flights, being as wealthy as a DM I can tell you the cheapest option I found:

Qatar Airways (0207 896 3636). Their open return was about £330. The service and all that is sound as, the only catch is, is that you fly pretty close to Iraq! We didn't receive any incoming fire when I flew with them last year if that's any consolation.

As for Aeroflop. Well I've flown from Bangkok to London with them, and they got me to my destination in 1 piece and cheaply. The only in flight entertainment was a drunken KGB old fella I was sat next to who allowed me to help him drink a couple of bottles of scotch with him and his 23 yr old stunning russian escort lass and let me smoke in the toilet (he told the stewardesses who he was and they left it at that!). The safety video is oscar quality. It's a VHS projected onto a whiteboard from the 70's / 80's. It's the original from whoever had the plane first. The voice over is the bloke who did it for the UK kids show Trumpton and it pauses abrubtly whilst the russian voiceover is done! Quality! We had to stay overnight due to being delayed. Most people were still in Thai mode, eg flip flops, shorts, t-shirts and sunnies. It was nice to see waist deep snow again! I'd suggest Aeroflot if you're v patient and not in a hurry, not after comfort, just be prepared. They do for the budget traveller.

Let us know how you get on fella
