Hello everyone, I'm new to SB and diving. My wife and I became certified this past July, and we can't figure out what took so long. We live in Brevard county Florida, visiting spot for hurricanes. We have done fresh water springs and a few beach dives (mother nature permitting), and are interested in much MUCH more. Looking for dive buddies, experienced hints and suggestions, locations....basically everything that can be offered right now. We just got back from Blue Springs this afternoon with a beautiful dive. No one else was under the water, so we were able to explore ourselves.

Hi Jokeborn

Another Brevardian from Cocoa Beach. I'm an instructor and trip coordinator. Do lotsa Keys, West Palm area, Marineland and the beaches. Welcome to our diving world! There is so much. We don't have the best diving in Brevard, but we are so co loacted to some of the greatest dining in the world

to the Boards.....jump on over to the Florida Conch Divers Section. There is a lot of localized information there and info on dives in your area. It's customary that if someone posts a dive on the boards it's an open invitation for any and all to show up.

Welcome to the board!

Welcome,
I lived in Orlando for 8 years and never learned scuba. Now I live in Cleveland and dive all the time in some of the worst water you have ever seen. Go figure.
Enjoy the board.

Hi jokeborn, my name is Matt. I would like to welcome to the Board! :balloon

Welcome, check out the range of dives we do as a group in the Florida Conch Divers section. You are just up the road from us here in Central Florida.

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Definitely, check out the Florida Conch Divers forum. They have a reputation for being a really fun and friendly bunch to hang out with. :D

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.
