There are other things on Cayman like Jamacian Fruit Bats (only indigenous mammal on Island) and caves.

Great picture of the bats! Which Cayman island were you on when you took that picture? I have seen caves on both GC and CB, I don't remember seeing any caves on LC.

I love bats because they eat mosquitoes! But do fruit bats eat bugs, or just fruit? Anyway, they sure are cute!
 
Kathy it was taken on Grand Cayman at the Crystal caves.....the bats eat primarily fruit in the caves you can see the scraps they drop on the cave floor.

We didn't make it to Crystal Caves, how good is the tour? I heard it was pricey.
 
Kathy here is their website I get a resident discount I think it was $28. per person for us I think it's worth it very interesting If you go take the early tour not afternoon it is much cooler in the A.M. it is sweltering in the afternoon also wear comfortable shoes there is a lot of walking involved over rough terrain.
