Locker question appears to be answered correctly above.

Everything in town (with a few exceptions) is "reasonably close" to the dive park... that is all of the hotels are at some distance away. As mentioned, Seaport Village is a good choice for divers as they will transport you and gear to and from the dive site. The Hotel Atwater also has gear storage facilities and the Hermosa Hotel (another diver dive) has limited storage as well.

I stayed at the Hotel Atwater earlier this year and cannot say enough good things about them! they have plenty of storage room for gear and a rinsing area. we even left our expensive video camera in a common are by accident and one of the staff picked it up and put it in a safe place for us. I also recommend the King Neptune they were awesome to dive with!

thanks, that is the one I had heard discussed here on SB. Looks perfect. Now we just need to come up with dates and decide if we fly or drive.
