Though I'm sure others do more, I dove there 6 times in the last 12 months and never had anything taken. I leave it in my roller bag. FWIW.

You know I appreciate the concern over security, (and use a Stanley box to lock my stuff up) but have there been that many issues of theft from the dive park? I know Dr. Bill got a computer stolen but I believe (and can be wrong) that it was left on the wall. I just can't remember the last time I heard of something left out on a dive mat or by the wall being stolen.

When my dive computers (2), compass and other assorted goodies were stolen, they were in a small bag and it was taken from the green pier in town. We think we know who did it (I was targeted). I've never had anything taken at the dive park... but then who in their right mind would take my ratty gear?

Generally things are pretty safe out there.

Last time I took advice like that I was in the desert watching off road racing. My buddy said don't worry about the cooler with our beer and food in the back of the truck, I have never had anything stolen out here. Needless to say, I was thirsty and hungry later that day ;). At least they left the empty cooler......

Best I can remember, there was gear stolen in early 2012 which prompted my first use of the lockers last year. Most any body who dives there is going to leave cell phone, credit cards, I.D. and whatever unattended while they are enjoying the Park. Anyway, I emailed the SCICo to see if there is anything in the works to replace the lockers. I will post hear any reply I get.
