I am currently a dive control specialist and will be doing my instructors course this year sometime and wanted to know if it is possible for dive instructors to get sponsored in certain countries? I did my dive con in Australia and would love to go back or anywhere warm really for a long period of time.

If anyone knows of any information or websites that could help me, would be appreciated.

Thanks :D

Pretty much no unless you know one personally and so on.
Dive instructor isn't a wanted occupation for anywhere i can think of - there are more instructors than are needed and the local population are qualified to do it.

The only option is having someone do it by knowing them personally. Even then its not guaranteed the application would be successful.

You'll certainly need a lot more on top of instructor to get even a chance (language skills, boat handling, proper first aid, equipment maintenance, computer skills etc)

no chance. in australia, divemasters don't get paid at all (we do it for fun) and instructors better have a day job.

here's a link to "in-demand" occupations, as viewed by the commonwealth department of immigration
