BVI - Beef Island Guesthouse

Has anyone stayed at Beef Island Guesthouse in the British Virgin Islands? My wife and I plan on visiting in May and read mixed reviews on the hotel. We are looking for a place that's safe to stay and has basic accomidations. Can anyone comment based on their own stay?

Never stayed there but you know Beef Island is the airport right? Trellis Bay is a 1/4 mile from the end of the runway.

Have a look at Cooper Island Beach Club on Cooper Island.
Clean and safe,good restaurant and nice beach, it is isolated though.

Yeah. Some friends of ours have a house and private boat to pick us up each morning. The house is full with friends and family so we only needed a place to sleep each night that is on the east side.

We stayed in the BVI twice this past year and are going back again this Fall.
