You take as much air as you need. You share if your equipment fails, but you should not go on a dive expecting to run out of air and expect to use your buddy. To guarantee this, you calculate your SAC rate and plan the dive accordingly... That is all.

Check out amphibian sports in west Norwood. If you won't have access to a car, Take southwest trains to Clapham junction and switch to the southern line towards Sutton, get off at west Norwood. It's probably a 10 minute walk from the station.
