don't try to compare yourself with someone who has a 1000 dives and in the video is doing everything they can to look good on camera.
get out there and enjoy yourself. strive to first lock in proper weighting and proper trim. most new divers are over weighted. the result is too much air on the bcd. so every depth change causes either a compression of the air in the bcd or an expansion of the air in the bcd. this makes it very tough to control. especially in shallower waters.
once that is done, practice in the shallows (during a safety stop is god time). stay relaxed. move as little as possible. try to stay horizontal. and control your breathing. try to anticipate when you need to inhale or exhale to control depth.
it is great you are trying to improve. thats a good thing. just don't get down on yourself if you are not "perfect".
