Just impulse bought a couple of AL 95's for stage bottles. Anyone have experience with these? I'm mostly interested in the buoyancy characteristics.

I used one as a deep diving O2 bottle where I needed large capacity, and I hated it because it was a boat anchor. I found a lp85 was the best trade off with great gas volume and good buoyancy characterisitics. I even used 85s as stages because they worked so well. I think you will find the weight and diameter will make it difficult.

not familiar with those, only the Luxfer 92's which shouldn't be all that different from an AL80 buoyancy wise, but I'd avoid them because they're 8" tanks.... If they're the 100's, then yeah, they're bricks and I'd avoid them altogether.
